RISUP E. DARDEN

   Risup E. Darden, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elisha H. Darden, died at his 
home in Emporia July 3, the funeral taking place in that town the following day 
with services by Dr. C.H. Rowland of the Franklin Christian Church, assisted by 
pastors of the Emporia churches. He was a native of Nansemond County, for many 
years a consistent member of Holy Neck Christian Church and is survived by his 
widow; four sons and three daughters; a brother, W.B. Darden of Disputanta, and 
three sisters, Mrs. R.B. Eure, Mrs. R.E. Hines and Miss Clarissa Darden of 
Franklin.
