MRS. JOSEPHINE PRESLEY 

  Mrs. Josephine Adline [sic; Adeline] Presley, 84, mother of James F. 
Presley, of Suffolk, died Saturday at her home near Purdy, Virginia. 

  Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Grace 
Episcopal [sic*] Church in Purdy.  Interment will take place in the church 
cemetery. 

  Besides her son here she is survived by five daughters Mrs. W.N. Lynch, and 
Mrs. J.L. Lambert, of Emporia; Mrs. W.T. Lankford, Mrs. C.M. Jones and Mrs. 
T.B. Perkins, all of Purdy; one other son, Foster G. Presley, of Danville; 
three stepdaughters, Mrs. P.M. Butler of Adern, N.C.; Mrs. Jessie Worsham, of 
Fletchers, N.C.; Mrs. E.C. Brackett of Flat Rock, N.C.; one stepson, H.F. 
Presley, of Biltmore, N.C.; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

   GREGORY. 

Her son James Franklin "Frank" PRESLEY (1904 - 1998) is buried in
