GREENSVILLE COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - Green Morris, 21 Jun 1816

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Green Morris of Greensville County and State of
Virginia, being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do
make, constitute and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner
and form as followeth:

First my will is that all my just debts be paid and I give and bequeath unto
my dear mother Lucy Morris the sum of eighty dollars as her full right & title
to her and her heirs forever.

Item: My will is that my brother Wyatt Morris have my saddle and bridle to him
and his heirs forever.

Item: My will and desire is that Wyatt Morris have eighty five dollars as his
full right and title to him and his heirs forever.

Item: My will and desire is that all the residue of my estate not heretofore
mentioned both real and personal be equally divided between my mother Lucy
Morris and my two sisters Winfred Morris and Mary Wilkinson as their full
right and title to them and their heirs forever.

Lastly, I do appoint my mother Lucy Morris and my brother Wyatt Morris my
Executrix and Executor to this my Last Will and Testament.

IN WITNESS of which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of June
one thousand eight hundred and sixteen.

                      the 12th day of August 1816

This Will was proved according to law by the oaths of Jerry Rowell and Susan
Rowell, two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the
motion of Lucy Morris, the Executrix therein named who made oath thereto &
together with William S. Jeffries and Thomas Davis, his securities entered
into and acknowledged their bond in the penalty of one thousand dollars
conditioned as the law directs, Certificate is granted the said Lucy Morris
for obtaining a Probat of the said Will in due form.
