At a Court held for Halifax County the 26th day of Aug 1822
The within written account of the sale of the estate of William Oliver decd was
returned to court and ordered to be received.

Dr. Estate William Oliver decd in account with Elijah A. Newbill Guardian of the
Orphans of Thos. A. Oliver decd
To five hundred and thirty seven dollars and twenty and a half cents received of
Nathaniel Barksdale in bond.
To one hundred and seventy one dollars received of Col. Charles T. Harris money
missing from the sale of Thomas A Oliver decd.
Follows a list of payments owed including:
	One bond on William Oliver Sr.	51.33 ˝
	One bond on Thomas Dobson? Delivered to 
	Francis Moore for the benefit of SC Moore’s wards 73.00
We allow William Oliver for the services rendered as Guardian	45.50
Agreeable to an order of the …… Court of Halifax County to us directed, dated
July 1822, we have this day gathered to state and settle the accounts current of
William Oliver Guardian of Thomas A. Oliver’s orphans and find a balance due
said orphans $268.36.  Given under our hands this 2nd of July 1822.
