Bramford's regiment that he lost his right arm entirely at the action of the hanging was Col. I do with the advice of Council certify that John Seamster of Halifax, aged about 45 years of age, late a private in the Detachment of the Virginia line was disabled in such a manner in the service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of eighteen pounds yearly, commencing on the first day of January 1786.
