Govenor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and to his successors, in the just and full sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to the use of the said Commonwealth; to the payment whereof, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, *illegible* jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 22nd day of November, 1813. The condition of the above obligation is such, That whereas there is a marriage intended to be solemnized between the above bound Anderson Connally and Catherine Cobbs of this county: Now, if there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
