Will of Jamima A. Poyner Ferrell, 1834 - Halifax Co. VA written 14-March-1834, proved 27-May-1834 I Jamima A Ferrell of the County of Halifax and State of Virginia now confined to my bed weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory feel disposed to Will away what has or may hereafter be coming to one from all Estates. First I Give my soul to God and my body to the dust from whence they came Secondly I give to my husband Burgess M Ferrell all that is coming to me from my deceased Grand Father James Ferrell Estate including what became due to me from my uncle Chiles Overton Ferrell Estate and what became due to me from my deceased Father David Poiner Estate what becomes due me from my Grand Father David Poiner Estate all my Interest in my dec'd Grand mother Joannah Poiner estate and all that is willed to me by her and all my Interests in my and all Estates both real and personal revoking all other Wills and Gifts - To this I have set my hand and offered my seal this fourteenth day of March and year of our lord and savior One thousand eight hundred and thirty four. The within written last Will and Testament of Jamima Ferrell dec'd was presented in Court and proved by the oath of two of the witnesses thereto subscribe and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Burgess M Ferrell who made oath according to Law and with James Young and Mel B. Ferrell his securities entered into bond in the penalty of $500.00 conditioned according to Law Certificate is granted him for obtaining letters of administration of the Estate of the said Jamima Ferrell dec'd with the Will annexed in due form.
