Hampton, Virginia DATE: 1801, date of oldest grave. OWNERS: Fred Cock. (1937) DESCRIPTION: There is no record of this burial plot. There are several graves here, but only one stone standing. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: This is the grave of a descendant of Thomas Curle, and grandfather of the present owner of “Joy Home”. In Memory of Pascon(or Pascow) Herbert who departed this life in the 60” year of his age the 21” day of May 1801 Sacred to the memory of James Henry C. Finch only child of Jas. H. and Laura F.
