Hampton - Emily C. Baker, 87, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007.

A native of New Bern, NC, Emily retired from Hastings Radis after 15 years of 
service, and is a cat lover.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Baker, in 1992 and son, 
Terrence Baker, in 1966.

Emily leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons and daughters-in-law, David L. 
and Annette Baker, Allan L. and Deidre Baker; grandchildren, Tamera, Susan, 
Katrina and Kristofor, great-grandchild, Christian; and special nieces, Ann 
Harrell and Emily Jones.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, in Parklawn Memorial 
Park.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at Parklawn-
Wood Funeral Home.

Friends are encouraged to visit www.mem.com to share words of comfort with the 
family.

Service arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. 
Armistead Ave., Hampton.
