Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 8,1958
Ben Becton of 1612 Vernon Drive, Diggs Park, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the 
Veterans Hospital, Hampton, VA.  Funeral arrangements are pending.

Mr. Becton, a native of Kinston, NC, had lived in Norfolk for 45 years.  He was 
affiliated with the Masons, Elks, and the Norfolk Social Beneficial Association.

He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Ora Becton;  two brothers, Henry of Bridgeport 
CT, and Nemiah of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Mrs. Reba Newton and Mrs. Laura 
Jenkins of Kinston.

Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
