F. Foster, 34, Succumbs; Rites Sunday At 5:30 Floyd Franklin Foster, 34, of 332 Greenbriar avenue, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Catawba sanatorium after a long illness. A Matthews county native, Mr. Foster has been a Peninsula resident since he was 10 years old. He was an employe of the local shipyard and a member of the Congregational Christian church. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p. m. Sunday at the Congregational Christian church, conducted by the Rev. Jesse H. Dollar, pastor. The Rev. R. I. House of Richmond will assist. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth; one son, Franklin Luke; and two daughters, Jacquelin Jane and Nancy Belle. Also surviving are three brothers, Perry, Dorsey and Earl; five nieces and nephews, an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Seth Foster of Hampton; and other relatives. Active pallbearers for the funeral were not known last night. Members of the Lee House Sunday school class of the Congregational Christian church and other friends will be honorary pallbearers.
