John Thomas Houghton, of 1815 O’Keefe street, World War I veteran, died April 20 
in Kecoughtan Veterans Hospital.

A funeral service was held in the hospital chapel. Burial was in National 
Cemetery, Hampton.

Mr. Houghton was a native of Edenton, NC, son of the late Harrison and Mrs. Sarah 
P. Houghton. He is survived by one sister, Miss Louise Houghton; a number of 
cousins and other relatives.
