Norfolk - Charlie W. Jones, 53, of 2642 Liberia drive, was given final rites
July 17 in Smith Brothers Funeral Home, Hampton, with a burial in Hampton
National Cemetery.

A Windsor, NC, native, he was the husband of Mrs. Johnetta Jones and a veteran
of World War II.  He died July 11 in Veterans Administration Hospital Kecoughtan.

Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers, James Jones of Norfolk and
Johnnie Jones of Atlantic City, and a sister,  Mrs. Margaret Collins of Norfolk
