Norfolk - A funeral service was held Tuesday in Metropolitan AME Zion Church by
the Rev. R. A. Councill for Emanuel McCoy of 970 Rugby street.  Burial was in
Hampton National Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Portsmouth, Mr. McCoy died Dec. 2 in his home.  He was the husband
of Mrs. Lillian S. McCoy.  He was a door - to- door salesman for 20 years and a
veteran of World War 1. He was a member of the choir, and usher board of
Metropolitan AME Zion Church and Campbell Masonic Lodge.
