Norfolk - A funeral service for Hugh W. Scott, 72, of 417 Raleigh avenue was
held Monday in the chapel of Pretlows Funeral Home.  The Rev. William Tyree
officiated.

Interment was in Hampton National Cemetery.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Walter and Mrs. Hannah Scott.  He was a
veteran of World War I and a retired longshoreman.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Estella Daniel of Chesapeake.
