Funeral services for William Thomas, 60, husband of Mrs. Estelle Thomas, were
held recently at Citizens Funeral Home.  The Rev. S. A. Wilson, pastor of Second
Calvary Baptist Church, officiated and burial was in National Cemetery, Hampton
with full military honors.

Mr. Thomas died recently at his home, 429 Brewer street, after a long illness. 
A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Robert and Mrs. Marietta Grinam
of Springfield, a butcher by trade and a Navy veteran of World War 1.

Besides his wife, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sophenia Lewis of Norfolk and
Mrs. Rosetta Grinam of Springfield MA.
