Dickerson, William              Pen. 119             1784-1789
Soldier, 6th Virginia Regiment
Hanover County


     I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that William Dickerson, aged 
about 27 years, late a private in the 6th Virgina Regiment, now a citizen of the 
County of Hanover, appears to have been wounded in such a manner while in the 
service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of eighteen pounds 
yearly; which allowance is accordingly made him, to commence from the first day 
of January 1786.  Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of 
Virginia, at Richmond, this 7th day of January 1787.
