  I do with the advice of the Council hereby certify that Mary Hogan, widow of 
David Hogan who was a private in the 5th Virginia Regiment and died in the 
service of the United States is allowed the sum of five pounds yearly which 
allowance is to commence from the 1st day of January 1787.  Given  under my hand 
as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 26th day of 
October, 1787.  Signed: Edm. Randolph

deceased.
