Will of Agnes D. Walton 1854 I, Agnes D. Walton of Hanover Co., in the State of Virginia, do make this to be my last will and testament as follows: I lend to my sister Mary Yeamans during her life the whole of my estate both real and personal. At the death of my sister Mary Yeamans I lend to my niece Mary Ann Coats, the wife of Joseph Coats, Jr., during her life the one-third part of my negro property and at the death of my said niece Mary Ann Coats it is my will and desire that the said third part together with the negroes and other property both real and personal of every description which I have loaned to my sister Mary Yeamans shall be equally divided between the children of my nephew Andrew G. Walton and the children of my sister Frances White of the State of South Carolina, that is, the children of Andrew G. Walton shall have the one half and the children of Frances White shall have the other half. I give to my brother in law Pleasant Yeamans my negro boy George and to my friend John A. Netherland I give my negro boy Temple. I also give to Ann Pettus Sims, daughter of Garland L. Sims dec'd my negro girl Louisa Ann and one hundred dollars in Cash at the death of my sister Yeamans. It is also my will and desire that my old negro woman Dorcas and my old man Lewis shall be supported out of my Estate by Executors. In the last place I appoint my brother in law Pleasant Yeamans and my friend John A. Netherland to be executors of this my will.
