Will of Pleasant Yeaman 1866 I, Pleasant Yeamans of the County of Hanover & State of Virginia do make this my last will & Testament in manner and form as follows: Item 1st. I wish all my just debts to be paid out of my estate. Item 2. I give to my wife two hundred dollars for charitaable purposes, or to be used in other way she may think proper. Item 3. I wish all my estate both real & personal to remain undivided as long as my wife lives for her benefit & use. Item 4th. I wish my Exor hereafter named to see that my wife has all the necessaries of life so that she may live comfortably the balance of her days. Item 5. I wish the land held in partnership by the Estate of Agnes D. Walton, dec'd & myself Viz the Netherland tract- the Goodman tract and the Walton tract to be divided or sold in a body as my Exor & the other parties interested may think best. At the death of my wife I wish my interest in the above mentioned tracts to go to my brothers & sisters which I give and bequeath to them & their heirs forever. John B. Yeamans, Nancy Netherland, Elizabeth Netherland if alive, if not to her heirs, Francis Yeaman, Polly Yeamans, to be equally divided between them. Item 6. I wish the tract of land I purchased of M. Q. Terrell & others to be sold after my wife's death and the proceeds to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters mentioned in the 5th clause. Item 7. My interest in the land belonging to the estate of my father John Yeamens dec'd I give and bequeath to my brother John B. Yeamans - the personal portion of the said estate coming to me I wish sold & the proceeds to be equally divided between my brother and sister excepting my sister Elizabeth Netherland or her heirs which I do not give any portion of sd personal estate.
