Cemetery Location:  1 mile north of Rt #4, 1 mile west of Hunton Road, 9 miles 
                    northwest of the Richmond City Limits.
                    Henrico County




This graveyard is located on what is known as the old Royal or Ryal place.

It is a square space of ground about thirty by thirty feet covered with 
honeysuckle vines and surrounded by large old locust trees.  Originally it 
contained many bodies, most of which have been removed to other grounds or the 
markers have been destroyed.  The remaining tombstone of heavy granite bears the 
following peculiar inscription and has the stones, foot and head, reversed, the 
cause of which no one has ever know.
