Garner Cemetery Location: 9.7 miles east of Richmond, Va., on Rt #60, thence .4 mile north on Briel’s Farm Road, on the west side. Henrico County This graveyard is fenced in with a brick wall in which there is no entrance. In this wall there is a tablet with the words: Byrd George ¼ acre reserved A.D. 1814 There are two monuments here which measure about six feet high. They are of marble and the legends on them are easy to read. Sacred to the memory of Byrd George Born May 17th., 1758 Died Dec. 7th., 1836 In the 69th. year of his age In memory of Mary Crutchfield Consort of Byrd George Born May 20th., 1777 Died Sept. 27., 1807 In the 30th. year of her age In memory of Reuben Tankersley Who died September 23, 1826 and of His infant children George Byrd and Mary Tankersley
