Garner Cemetery Location: 11.9 miles east of Richmond, Va., Rt #60, thence 6.5 miles south on Rt #156, thence 1.8 miles east on Warriner Road, thence south on private road to McElroy Farm .4 mile, on the east side of the road about 25 yards from it. Henrico County The lot here is in a grove of trees and is not fenced in. There is one tombstone of white marble which is twenty-four inches in width. It is well preserved and the inscription is very plain. Sacred to the memory of Rev. Jervas M. Keesee He was born Mar. 24th, 1805 Was converted to God 1825 Was married to Martha M. Willis Feb. 10th, 1825 Commenced preaching 1826 Joined the Virginia Annual Conference Feb. 1834 Having for a number of years filled with great Success many responsible positions in the church He died in full assurance of a blessed immortality.
