Cemetery Location: 3 miles east of Richmond off Rt. 2 Henrico County This plot contains a full quarter acre of land and is covered over with very pretty old red oaks, cedar and walnut trees and running honeysuckle. Two stones are especially noticeable as they are forty three inches wide by seventy-eight inches long and have beveled edges. They rest flat on bricked up graves and the carving is still very distinct and regular. Another stone, very large, covers a sunken brick vault about six feet square. Here lies the body of Thomas Wilkinson, son of George and Margaret Wilkinson of New Kent County. He departed this life the 2nd. day of March 1772 Aged 44 years and 2 months Here is deposited the body of Margaret Clarke Wife of William Clarke of Hanover County Daughter of James Balfour and Elizabeth, his wife. Was born the 25th. of April 1737 And departed this life the 20th. day of September 1773 Age 30 years 4 months 27 days The other stone contains the wording: Family Vault of Dr. Kennon
