William Traylor to Edward Traylor, 1702 LDS microfilm #31764 p. 303 Henrico Co. deeds This indenture made the first day of December in the first year of the reign of our sovreign Lady Lady (last word lined out) Ann of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen.And in teh year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and two. Between William Traylor of the par. of Bristol in Henco. County of the one part and Edward TRAYLOR of the same parish and county, planter, of the other part. Witnesseth that the sd. William TRAYLOR for and in consideration of five pounds sterling money according to agreement between them well and fairly satisfied and paid ---hers (unreadable) of and of every part and parsell whereof the sd. Willm. TRAYLOR doth free quit and forever discharge the said Edward TRAYLOR, his heirs and assigns and hath for him and his heirs granted, bargained, sold, assigned over, enfeoffed and confirmed and doth by the sd. presents give, grant, bargain, sell, assign over, enfeoff and confirm to him the said Edward TRAYLOR his heirs and assigns forever one parcell of land containing about one hundred acres of land more or less situate lying and being in the county of Henco. in the parish of Bristoll and on the North side of Appomatox River above the land of George ARCHER. viz: Beginning at a corner forks (word unreadable) hickory on the sd. river and runneth thence into the woods north two hundred and eighty poles to a red oak thence east by south one fourth southerly sixty seven poles to a mulberry tree thence south down to the river to a corner willow tree along the river and thence to the place we began at. being a part of a pattent granted Govr. Francis NIcholson, Esq. Governor: unto the said William TRAYLOR bearing date October the 24th Anno 1701 To have and to hold the said one hundred acres of land more or less and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the sd. Edward TRAYLOR his heirs and assigns for ever in as large and ample manner to all intents and purposes as he (word unreadable) to William TRAYLOR or any other might or could enjoy the same and further the sd.
