Stricker has in a great measure lost the use of his arm by the wound received on the shoulder, a considerable part of the bone being taken away.--he is in a considerable degree deprived of the means of obtaining sustenance by hard labour. Hair CC August 30 1876 I do with advice of the Council hereby certify that William Stricker of Henrico,about 23 years of age, late a private in the Henrico Militia is put on the list of pensioners with an allowance of 12 pounds yearly, commencing on the first day of January 1786.
