The within named Wm. Stricker has in a great measure lost the use of his arm by 
the wound received on the shoulder, a considerable part of the bone being taken 
away.--he is in a considerable degree deprived of the means of obtaining 
sustenance by hard labour.  Signed: Wm. Foushes  August 30 1786

Put on the pension list with an allowance of 12 pounds

I do with advice of the Council hereby certify that William Stricker of 
Henrico,about 23 years of age, late a private in the Henrico Militia is put on 
the list of pensioners with an allowance of 12 pounds yearly, commencing on the 
first day of January 1786.  Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth 
of Virginia, at Richmond this 30th day of August 1786.
