WILL of John HARLOW Henrico County, Virginia Will Book 2, Page 609 In the name of God amen, I John Harlow of the County of Henrico being sick tho' in my perfect mind do make and ordain this my last will and Testament revolking all wills by me heretofore made this only to be my will. Item I give all my land that I possess to my son John Harlow to him his heirs and assigns forever I also give my son John three negroes namely Gib, Sam and Bet to him his heirs and assigns forever. Item I give to my daughter Mary Loving one negro woman named Doll to her heirs and assigns forever. I also give to my said daughter one featherbed and furniture. Item I give to my Granddaughter Susannah Loving one negro girl named Poll, to her her heirs and assigns forever. Item after my decease I give my negro woman Patt her freedom but to be in the care of Excutors hereafter named. The balance of my Estate of whatever it may be, I give to my daughter Judah Black after my just debts and funeral charges are paid to her and her heirs forever, I appoint my sons Mackamellon Harlow and John Harlow, Executors of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have set my and and seal this twenty six day of January 1802. His Signed Sealed published and delivered in the preaence John X Harlow of the subscribing witnesses Mark Teste Hen. Henley, William Martin, John Bowles At a court held for Henrico County at the Courthouse on monday the first day of February 1802 This will was proved by the oaths of William Martin and John Bowles witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of John Harlow an Executor thereto named who made oath thereto according to law and together with Jonathan Black John Bowles and William Martin his securities entered into and acknowledged their bond in the penaly of Eight hundred pounds conditioned as the laaw directs. Certification is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form. Liberty being reserved to the other executor in the said will named to join in the said probat when he shall think fit.
