Will of William Sneed of Henrico Co. Virginia:

To my son Robert Sneed, the 100 acres I live on, a mare & items
To my daughter Lucy Sneed, items
To my daughter Mary Sneed, items
To my daughter Martha Sneed, items
To my wife Katherine Snee, the rest of my estate for life, and then equally 
to my children.
Executors: wife and son Robert. dated Feb 5, 1777
Witnesses:  Jonathan Bridgewater, Annis Bridgewater, William Bridgewater
Recorded June 2, 1783 with Barret Price security.

(Other documentation states that Charles contested the will of his father, 
William, and the land was divided amongst Robert and Charles.  The will was 
dated Feb 5,1777 and probated in 1783.  According to the will, the land was 
left to the eldest son according to English law.  )
