In Henrico County Court May 7, 1849
On the motion of William Crafton a distributee of Samuel Crafton decd 
the Court doth appoint any one of the Commissioners of this Court with 
authorization (having just taken the oath prescribed by Law) to audit, 
state and settle accounts of Richard S. Cauthorn as administrator of 
the said Samuel Crafton deceased as far as he has progressed in 
administering the estate of the decedent.

This day James A. Godden personally appeared before a Justice of the 
peace for the County aforesaid and made oath that he would to the 
best of his skill and judgment faithfully discharge the duties of 
commissioner in stating, auditing and adjusting the accounts of 
Richard S. Cauthorn upon estate of Samuel Crafton deceased and make 
true and ____ in part thereof  ________ partiality or affection.  
Given under my hand this 7th day of June 1849.

Pursuant to the annexed order of Henrico County Court Your Commissioner 
having first taken the oath prescribed by law has audited, stated and 
settled accounts of Richard S. Cauthorn as administrator of Samuel 
Crafton deceased and finds and reports as per the annexed account a 
balance due from the administrator to the estate of his intestate on 
the 1st day of June 1849 of $363.31 with interest on $361.86 part 
thereof from that date until paid.
