The Henry Bulletin, November 7, 1930
THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., Nov. 7, 1930, p. 5, col. 7.  Burial 
services were held Thursday at Bassett for Frederick Bryant, a native of Henry 
County, but for many years a resident of West Virginia, who was killed in an 
automobile accident near Welch Monday night.  Bryant, in company with two 
companions, were riding in a machine when it suddenly turned over, causing fatal 
injuries to Bryant and slight injuries to the other two men.  Bryant was well know 
throughout the Welch section where he had made his home for many years.  He was 38 
years of age, married and had five children.  he also leaves number of relatives 
living in the Bassett community.  He was born on the Bryant farm near Elamsville.  
Interment was made near Bassett.
