THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., July 25, 1930, p. 2, col. 4 [edited]. 

Mrs. John A. Setliff, aged about 74 years, died at her home near Bassett, 
Wednesday, July 2nd, after a lingering illness.  Funeral services were held the 
following day.  Interment was in the cemetery near Center Church.  Mrs. Setliff is 
survived by her husband and four sons and four daughters:  George, Peach, Albert 
and John Setliff, and Mrs. Mollie James, Mrs. Snora Wray, Mrs. Rosa Parker and 
Miss Alice Dodson [sic].  Mrs. Setliff was the mother of 16 children, eight of 
whom preceded her to the grave.

Additional Comments:
She is buried in the Dodson Cemetery which is located off Fairystone Highway in 
Henry County, Virginia near the old Triplett's Grocery Store.
