Turn from Rt. 640 onto Rt. 642. Pass the Jack's property and the cemetery is before Rt. 643. This cemetery is larger but definitely old, with fallen, cracked, unreadable and sunken tombstones. It's located on the side of the road and has a few trees but is otherwise flat and open. It's fenced with an old wire fence and has a gate right near the road - you have to go through a shallow ditch and up a short rise to get to it. Surnames I saw were: Kramer Jack Beverage Life Hansel Near the entrance are these two stones side by side: KRAMER ----------------------- J. H. KRAMER 1861 - 1940 (Note: H. stands for Hull.) KRAMER ----------------------- KATE SHRADER WIFE OF J. H. KRAMER 1863 - 1933 Across from them is a large stone with KRAMER in large letters and a masonic symbol on it. Past them toward the back is an obelisk engraved on three sides On the front face: (Masonic symbol) CONRAD KRAMER DIED MAR 3 1886 AGED 70 Ys. 1 M. 17 Ds. On the base: "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord" or perhaps "lie in the Lord" which might make more sense except that it sure does look like a "d", not an "l". On the face to the right: MARY E. WIFE OF C. KRAMER On the left face: BARBARA KRAMER DIED SEP 29, 1893 AGED 68 Ys. 8 M. 1 D. Lilly G. Infant daughter of J.K. & M.S. Kramer d. May 29, 1886 There is a small footstone that says "LGK" There is a plain broken stone with only "E. H." In memory of MARY Wife of Ben AN?H Hansel & daughter of (??????) Wallace
