DESCRIPTION:

It is a small private graveyard, enclosed with a fence but does not contain a 
single marker bearing an inscription.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

William Thompson buried here, operated a grist mill at this place prior to the 
Civil War.  He was the grand-father of Mrs. Will Armstrong of Trimble, Virginia 
and a confederate soldier.

Information was obtained from visit to the site, from Mr. Gutshall owner of land 
and from Mrs. Will Armstrong.
