There are two stone about two hundred yards back of the house in the edge of a wood. One stone is lying flat on the ground. The following inscriptions was copied from the stone: In Memory of Gray CARROLL who died on the 6th of November 1843 in the 70th year of his age. Blessed is the memory of an upright man who now rests from his labors, and his works do follow him.
