                  Research made by Florence Marion Jordan

Cemetery Location:  1.5 miles west of Carrsville, Virginia, on Route #58; thence 
                    1 mile north of Route #58 on Route #614; thence .5 mile east 
                    of Route #614.  The cemetery is in a field near the side of 
                    the house.
                    Isle Of Wight County, Virginia


DATE:

1839.  Date of oldest grave.

OWNERS:

Jesse Councill and his descendants.

DESCRIPTION:

This was the old Jesse Councill burying ground.  There are several graves that 
have no markers.

Died April 24, 1839


Julius C. Councill
son of Joseph C. & Judith Councill
Died July 4th, 1851
Aged 23 years
Cut off suddenly but not without hope.


Christian Councill
Daughter of Godwin & Pheraby Councill
Died Sep. 29, 1855
Aged 47 years.
