To All to Whome these p'rSents shall Come to be seene or reade; Knowe yee, 
That Whereas theire is a Marriage Intended to be Solemmized, Betweene me 
Alce Harris, the late Relictt & Executrix, of my deceased husband Thomas 
Harris of the County of Isle of Wight, And John Sojornour of the same County 
planter, doe out of my Naturall & Motherly love & affection; to my Children, 
before Marriage wý [with] the said Sojorno'r: Give make over & confirme, Unto 
my five Children, wch [which] I had by the said Tho: Harris, being one sonne 
Named Tho: harris And fower daughters, these Sev'r all p/ticulars herein 
mentioned & Nominated as followeý [followeth], Vizt - Two fether bedds, wth 
[with] theire furniture too them, five yeos [ewes] & theire female increase; 
Three heiffeirs of three years old, & two Cowes, wý theire female increase; 
five pewter dishes, five pewter Basons one flaggon pott, one quart pott, one 
three quart pott, two Silver Tankers, Three Brass Kettles, one of Sixteene 
gallions one other holdinge about twentie five or thirtie Gallions, the other 
holdinge about Eight Gallions; one Iron pott, one Iron Kettle, & two Iron 
Spitts; All wch Beddinge, Cattle, sheepe & household goods herein mentioned 
I the Said Alce Harris, doe for my Selfe, my heires Executo:rs Administrato:rs 
& Assignes, for ever, make over Confirme, give & bequeath unto my Said sonne 
Tho: Harris, And my fower daughters, & to theire heires, Executo:rs 
Adm:rs & Assignes for ever; And to be equally devided, & shared betweene them, 
as they shall attaine to Age or Married, And if it please God, Any of my said 
five Children should dye, before they Come to Age or married  That then such 
p/te, or proportion, of the said Estate soe given by me, & belonginge to them, 
to fall to the Survivo:rs of them, And soe to be equally shared; & devided, 
betweene them, as they attaine to Age or Married as afore said  And if it 
please God, to take all my said Children, out of this Mortall life; before 
mee, or if they or any of them should prove disobedient, & unnaturall Children 
to me theire Mother, Then it shalbe att my will & power to

And dispose of what is herein Mentioned; wý out the lett, hinderance, or 
trouble, of them my said Children, or any of them, theire heires, Executo:rs 
Administrato:rs or Assignes; Alwaies reserveinge to my selfe, a power, to 
keepe in my custodie, the things, afore mentioned; Till I see fitt & 
necessarie, to deliv:r it to them, theire share & part thereof, as they shall 
attaine to Age; or be married as aforeSaid; To the true p/formance of the 
reall intent & meaneinge hereof, to be by me confirmed; And beinge wý the, 
Assent, consent, and good likeings of ýe said John Sojorner, my intended 
husband; before our intermarriage; Wee have hereunto Sett our hands & seales, 
this Sixteenth day of May 1673 ~/ 
       Before the Signinge, sealeinge & delivery hereof, It is by the said 
       Alce harris Widdowe Concluded That what increase of the femele sheepe 
       & Cattle above mentioned; by her given to her Children shalbe att her 
       dispose, in Sellinge them, & turneinge the produce of ýem, into other 
       necessaries for her Children, as shee shall see fittinge & Convenient/
