Know all men by these P'sents 
that I Vallentyne CHITTY of the County of Isle of Wight in Virginia Planter, 
for divers good Causes & Consideraçons me thereunto moveing, Especially for a 
valluable Consideraçon in Cattle to me in hand p.d & sattisfied before y.e 
Signeing Sealing and delivery of these p'sents, 
doe for me my Heires Executo.rs & Administrato.rs bargaine, sell, assigne 
possess & for Ever alientate unto John JENINGS of the County aforesaid, 
One parcell of Land Conteyning fifty Acres, w.ch Land was given me by the last 
Will & Testam.t of Thomas GREENWOOD of the same County dec'ed [WD1:571-72], 
where then lived one James NELSON, 
Which said Land Conteyning Fifty Acres as aforesaid, is to begin att the first 
bounds thereof on the marked Trees of Peter BAGLIE [BAGLEY] where he latelie 
lived on, 
To have and to Hould the said Fifty Acres, of Land with all Houses, Edifices, 
Fences, Orchards Gardens, w.ch whatsoever is thereon now groweing, standing 
and being, with all benefitts Priveledges & Royalties, thereunto apperteyning 
or any way belonging To him the said John JENINGS his Heires Executo.rs 
Administrato.rs & Assignes for ever with generall warranty against all P/sons 
that shall Clayme, by or under me my Heires Executo.rs or Assignes now or any 
other tyme hereafter, 
And doe by these p'sents Surrender all my full & whole right, of my interest 
unto y.e s'd Land given me by Will as aforesaid, 
And doe by these p'sents further oblidge my selfe the said Vallentyne CHITTY, 
to acknowledge this Conveyance att y.e next Court, w.ch shall be held, in y.e 
Isle of Wight County being y.e first day of May next ensueing y.e date hereof, 
Or att farthest in June Co.rt followeing, 
In Testimony of all w.ch p'mises, I the said Vallentyne CHITTY have hereunto 
sett my hand & Seal this 20.th day of Aprill 1665 and in y.e 17.th year of y.e 
Reign of O.r Soveraigne L'd King Charles y.e second

     This Conveyance made by Vallentyne CHITTY was acknowledged in Open Co.rt 
     by him y.e 1.st day of May 1665 unto John JENINGS in these words,
