To all &ca Whereas &ca Now Know yee that I the Said Francis Lord HOWARD 
Governo.r &c doe with the advice and Consent of the Counsell of State 
accordingly Give and grant Humphry CLARK Three hundred acres of Land 
Scituate lying and being in the county of Isle of Wight according to the most 
lawfull and Antient Bounds thereof formerly granted to Cap.t John UPTON dec'ed 
and was lately found to Escheate to his Sacred Ma.tie as by an Inquisition 
Recorded in M.r _ _ Secretaryes Office under the hands and Seales of Cap.t 
Will'm RANDOLPH deputy Escheato.r of the said County and a Jury Sworne before 
him for that purpose dated the Twenty Seventh day of September One Thousand 
Six hundred Eighty Three may appeare 
and is since granted to the said Humphry CLARK who hath made his Composiçon 
according to Law 
To have & to hold &c 
To be held &c 
yielding and paying &c 
dated the Fourth day of November  One Thousand Six hundred Eighty Five /
