To all &c whereas &c now know ye that I the said Francis 
Nicholson Esq. ?? Gov.nr &c give and grant unto Wm Collins one 
hundred acres of Land Lying at Kingsale in the upper parish 
of Nansemond beginning at a Gum a Corner tree to Tho. Davis 
& runs by Davis his line South two hundred and fifty pole 
to a red oake standing in ye said line thence East Sixty two 
pole to a maple standing on the west side of a branch called 
Capt. Johns branch thence by the sd branch as it runneth 
to the run of kingsayle swamp thence by the said swamp to the first station 
The said land being due to the said William Collins by and for the 
transportation of 
two persons &c to have & to hold &c yeilding & paying &c. provided &c. dated ye 
29th day of october Ano. Dom. 1691

west one hundred sixty eight pole to a pine then west three hundred thirty two 
Pole to a pine then west south west one hundred fourty four pole to a pine & 
then running west three hundred & eight pole to a pine then running south 
west thirty pole to a pine by ye side of ye main swamp soe running East South 
East up ye main branch to a pine then running north by east up from the 
maine branch by ye side of a ?? branch three hundred twenty four pole to ye 
first station.  The said land being due ye &c for ye transportation of twenty 
seven persons &c. To have & to hold &c. To be held &c yeilding & paying &c. 
provided
