Know yee that I the said S.r Francis WYATT K.t Gov'n.r &c give & grant unto 
Searjant Sam.ll DAVIS One hundred Acres of Land being in the County of the 
Isle of Wight upon A Branch that Issueth from the Pagan Bey Creek being 
Between two parcells of Land mençoned in One Pattent of M.r Nathaniell LLOYD, 
One parcell Conteyning Six hundred Acres 
and the other Two hundred & fifty 
Which said One hundred Acres of Land doth begin att the parcell of Six hundred 
Acres of Land  and Running North West Fifty Pole by the Branch side to the 
Parcell of Two hundred & fifty Acres 
running South West for length Between the two parcells in the aforesaid 
Pattent, 
which said Land is to be Augmented, 
And the said Land being due P/ transportaçon of two Persons 
Dated the the 14.th day of October 1640

that I Samuel DAVIS with the Consent of Anne my Wife doe for me & my heires 
Assigne over all my right and Title of the within mençoned Parcell of Land 
unto John WATSON and his Heires and Assignes for ever in as large ample & 
effectuall manner as I or my heires might or Could enjoy the same by vertue of 
the said Pattent 
And doe Acknowledge my selfe to be fully sattisfied for y.e same 
And doe oblidge my selfe to make Acknowledgement hereof in the Isle of Wight 
County Court 
Witness my hand and Seal this 22.th Aprill 1668
