Cathrine relinquished her right of dower to the lands conveyed. p. 203 - Lease and release. 28-29 Jul 1737 from George WILLIAMSON of Henrico Co., cooper, John WILLIAMSON, Thomas WILLIAMSON, both of IoW, planters, Robert EXUM of IoW, planter, and Patience, his wife, Elizabeth JOYNER of IoW, widow, Julian WILLIAMSON of IoW, spinster, to Lewis BURWELL of James City Co., Gentleman, for 25 £, about 250 acres at or near a place called Blackwater Swamp in Newport Parish in IoW, and adjoining the other lands lately purchased by the said Lewis BURWELL of the said George WILLIAMSON, the same being part of 500 acres patented to Robert WILLIAMSON, uncle of the said George WILLIAMSON, on 30 Oct 1686, 200 acres of which said 500 acres were formerly sold by said Robert WILLIAMSON to John SURGINER by deed dated13 Aug 1687. Forty acres [sic], the other part thereof, was formerly sold by George WILLIAMSON, father of the said George WILLIAMSON, party to these presents, and brother & heir of the said Robert WILLIAMSON, to said John SURGINER by deed dated 9 Apr 1691.
