To all Christian People to whome these p'sents shall come 
Know yee that I Michaell FULGEHAM of the Lower P'ish of the Isle of Wight 
County doe acknowledge to have rec'ed of the Churchwardens & Vestrymen of the 
said Lower Parish of the Isle of Wight County A full and valluable 
consideraçon for one Acre of Land scituate lying & being in the fores'd 
Parrish Whereon the Churchhouse now standeth by y.e Deep Swamp 
Wherefore I the said Michaell FULGEHAM doe with the consent of Anne my Wife 
doe give grant alien sell & confirme for ever unto the said Vestry men for the 
use of the Parish the said One Acre of Land before named, 
warranting the sale thereof to be ggod & authentick from the Clayme molestaçon 
& trouble of me my heires and Ex.rs for Ever, 
w.th the Ould Roads[?] thereto belonging 
In Witness whereof Wee have hereto sett hands & Seales 
this Sixth of Sept.r 1683
