VA Isle of Wight Co., VA, Deed Book 31, p. 552 2 Jan 1837 Levi LOWE & wife Mourning to Mills BRACEY [margin notes] LOWE & wife to BRACEY} deed This Indenture made this 2:nd day of January in the Year of Christ one Thousand eight hundred & Thirty Seven, between Levi LOWE and Mourning his wife of the County of Southampton of the one part, and Mills BRACEY of the County of Isle of Wight of the other part _ Witnesseth that the Said Levi LOWE & Mourning his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three Hundred dollars to them in hand paid at and before the Sealing of these presents, have granted, bargained, Sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, Sell, alien, enfeoff & convey unto the Said Mills BRACEY, his heirs and assigns forever, one Certain tract, or parcel of land, Situate lying and being in the County Aforesaid, containing by estimation one hundred and Sixty one acres, be the Same more or less, and bound as follows (to wit) by the lands of Robert B. POPE &c. and the lands of Micheal LOWE & Mills BRACEY, & Hezekiah BRACEY & Henry GASKINS' heirs & the Lands of Harmon HATCHELL & the lands of Benjamin WESTRAY's heirs, and the revision and revisions ["revision" & "revisions" underlined], remainder and remainders, ishues & profits thereof unto the Said Mills BRACEY and his heirs- To have and to hold the Said land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging in any wise appurtaining unto him the Said Mills BRACEY his heirs and assigns forever.
