VA Isle of Wight Co., VA, Deed Book 31, p. 294 30 Jan 1835 Sally (MCCLENNY) MOUNTFORD to William MCCLENNY [margin notes] MOUNTFORD to MCCLENNY} Deed This Indenture made the 30:th day of Dec:r in the year one Thousand eight hundred and thirty five between Sally MOUNTFORD being a lawfull heir of Zachariah MCCLENNY Decd: Who departed this life intestate on the 7:th day of February 1811 seized and possessed of a Certain tract of land in the County of Isle of Wight the said Sally MOUNTFORD being the daughter of said Zachariah MCCLENNY, And is intitled to one equal third part of said land, of the County of Isle of Wight of the one part, And Willam MCCLENNY of the said County of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Sally MOUNTFORD for in Consideration of two hundred and fifty dollars to her in hand paid by the said William MCCLENNY at or before the ensealing of these presents, the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and Sell unto the said William MCCLENNY his heirs and assigns, a certain tract peice or parcel of land (Viz) All her reight to the aforesaid tract of land situate lying and being in the County of Isle of Wight and ["and" underlined] Nancemond that is to say all my right, interest, Claim and demand, that She the said Sally MOUNTFORD hath or may have to the said tract or parcel of land known by the name plantation of the aforesaid Zachariah MCCLENNY the bounds of which will appear by rifference to the records of the County of Isle of Wight together with all the Singular the appurtenances whatsoever to the tract of land belonging or appurtaining or with the same used, enjoyed, or accepted reputed taken or known as part thereof, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, yearly and other rents, isus and profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof, To have and to hold the said tract, peace or parcel of land with the tenements, Hereditaments, with all and singular other the premises herein before mentioned or intended to be bargained and sold, and every part and parcel thereof with every of their rights, members, and appertinances unto the said William MCCLENNY his heirs and assigns forever, to and for the only proper use and behoof of him the said William MCCLENNY his heirs executors, administraotrs and assigns forere and the said Sally MOUNTFORD for herself her heirs the said tract of land as aforesaid, with all and singular the appertinances before mentioned unto the said Milliam MCCLENNY his heirs and assigns, free from the Claim or Claimsof her the said Sally MOUNTFORD her heirs and of all and every person or persons whatsoever shall will and do warrant and forever defend by these presents, In Witness Whereof the said Sally MOUNTFORD have hereunto Set her hand and Seal this day and year first above Written Sally MOUNTFORTT *Seal* Signed Sealed Delivered} In presence of} Josiah P.
