This deed made this 1.st day of August in the year of our lord 1853. 
Between Margaret MORRISS of the one part, 
And Graves NIBLETT of the other part. 
Witnesseth, that the Said Margaret MORRISS do grant unto the Said Graves 
NIBLETT the following property, to wit: 
One farm Containing by estimation Two hundred & forty Six ½ acres be the Same 
more or less_ And Known by the name of the Exum ELEY farm, 
And bounded as followers, [sic] 
On the North & west by Solloman CARR 
East by Thomas PIERCE 
And on the South by Wm. UZZELL And James M. ELEY. 
In trust to Secure Irvin W. DUCK And William HALL as Security for the Said 
Margaret MORRISS to Mills W. DARDEN for the Sum of Four hundred Dollars 
And the Said Margaret MORRISS covenants with And warrants generally the title 
to the said real estate hereby Conveyed to Graves NIBLETT, for certain 
purposes, therein Specified. 
Given under our hands And Seals the day and date As above written.
