This Deed made this 19_th day October 1881, A.D. between Geo. W. MUNFORD of 
the County of Isle of Wight and State of Virginia, and W.S. HOLLAND chosen 
trustee party of the second part 
witnesseth: That for and in consideration of one dollar cash in hand paid and 
the facts hereinafter written, the said Geo. W. MUNFORD doth grant with 
general warranty unto the said W.S. HOLLAND chosen trustee, The following 
property, to wit: 
All that tract of land conveyed to the said Geo. W. MUNFORD by the heirs of 
Zachariah MUNFORD dec'd, with all the appurtenances thereto belonging except 
lumber sold to R.J. COX 
in trust to secure to the said Thos. J. CLEMENTS the payment of the following 
bond with all interest, 
A bond made and executed by said Geo. W. MUNFORD for three hundred dollars 
payable to said Thos. J. CLEMENTS on order twelve months after date dated on 
the 19_th day of Oct. 1881 and on which John A. MUNFORD signs as surety. 
   It is agreed that if the said Geo. W. MUNFORD shall fully pay off and 
satisfy the aforesaid bond at the expiration of twelve months as aforesaid 
then this deed shall be null and void, otherwise on the request of Thos. J. 
CLEMENTS any time after the expiration of the twelve months aforesaid, the 
said W.S. HOLLAND after giving ten days notice shall proceed to sell the 
aforesaid land for Cash, and after deducting Costs and expenses of sale from 
proceeds, shall pay off said bond with all accrued interest and shall pay the 
residue, if any there be, to the said Geo. W. MUNFORD, 
as witness the following signatures and seals [final s's struck out] this day 
and date aforesaid.

          I, Geo. M. WADDELL  a notary public for the county of Isle of Wight 
and state aforesaid, do certify that Geo. W. MUNFORD personally appeared 
before me in my County aforesaid and acknowledged the above deed to which his 
name is signed. 
   Given under my hand this 6_th day of Feby: 1882.
