     In the yeare of o.r ["Lord" struck through] Sovereign Lord the King 
     Anno Dom: 1683 August the Ninth 

Bee it knowne to all persons to whome these may or shall concerne 
that I William BUSH doe hereby firmely w.th the Consent of my Wife Martha BUSH 
Sell unto George PIERCE, a certein parcell of Land being & lyeing upon the 
head & branches of Currawaugh Swamo in the Isle of Wight County in Virginia 
which parcell of Land conteining Two hundred Acres, of which Land too to 
remaine to him the s'd George PEIRCE to him his heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs and to 
his for ever, w.th all the proffitts priveledges thereunto belonging 
And further I the said William BUSH, w.th my Wife Martha BUSH doe warr.t the 
sale of the said Land to him the s'd George PEIRCE him his heires or As's 
against any P/son or persons w.t soever, that may or shall for the future lay 
any clayme claymes or interest, to or against the s'd Land, 
but to remaine his or their Land & proper right 
unto which wee doe hereunto sett our hands this day & year abovewritten, 
the boves'd Land being bounded as followeth it lying on
