This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of June one thousand eight hundred 
Between Thomas UZZELL j.r and Mary his wife of the one part 
and Thomas KING of the Town of Smithfield of the other part 
Witnesseth that the said Thomas UZZELL jun.r and Mary his wife for and in 
consideration of the Sum of five pounds current money of Virginia to him the 
said Thomas UZZELL jun.r in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby 
Acknowledge have granted, bargained, and sold, and by these presents do grant, 
bargain, and sell, unto the said. Thomas KING his heirs and assigns one 
certain tract or parcel of Land containing by a late Survey two Acres and a 
half lying and being in the County of Isle of Wight and bounded as follows: 
to wit 
Begining at the road that crosses Cypress Swamp near the crossing Place, 
and runing north five degrees West Twenty Six Poles to a Cedar 
then north sixty eight degrees West 20 Poles and eight links of the chain to a 
pine, 
then south five degrees east 18 Poles to the said Thomas KING's line 
then down Thomas KINGs line to the first Station 
(the said two and a half Acres of Land being a part of Thomas UZZELL's land) 
with all Houses woods under woods commons common Pasture ways waters and 
Appurtenances whatso everto the said Land and premises as in wise Appurtaining 
and the reversion reversions remainder and remainders rents and services 
thereof and also all right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of them 
the said Thomas UZZELL and Mary his wife of in and to the said Lands Tenements 
and Premises and every part and parcel thereof 
To have and to hold the said Lands Tenements and

Premises and all and Singular the Appurtenances aforesaid unto the said Thomas 
KING his heirs and Assigns forever 
and the said Thomas UZZELL and Mary his Wife for themselves their heirs and 
Assigns the said Lands Tenements and Premises and all and Singular the 
Appurtenances aforesaid unto the said Thomas KING his heirs and Assigns 
and they the said Thomas UZZELL and Mary his wife will warrant and forever 
defend the title of the said Lands tenements and Premises unto the said Thomas 
KING his heirs and Assigns forever ~ 
In Witness whereof they the said Thomas UZZELL and Mary his wife have hereunto 
set their hands and affixed their Seals the day and Year above Written ~
