To all &c  Whereas &c Now Know yee that I the Said S.r William BERKELEY Kn.t 
doe with the Consent of the Councill of State Accordingly give and grant Unto 
Henry WHITE fower hundred Acres of Land lying at blacke water 
Upon the Eastermost branch thereof poynting Up to Upper Chipoakes 
in the County of James City 
bounded East Upon the Said Swamp 
North Upon the Land of Francis ENGLAND 
South towards the lands of Peter HALL, 
and west into the Woods 
the Said Land being due Unto the Said Henry WHITE by and for the 
Transportation of four persons into the Colony all Whose Names are in records 
Mentioned under this patent 
to have and to hold &c 
to be held &c 
Yielding &c which payment is to be Made Seven Yeares after the Date hereof &c 
Dated y.e 4.th day of July 1649~
