ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, VA - DEEDS - Richard Wrenn to Josiah and Martha Wilson, 8 Sep 1783 ----¤¤¤---- Isle of Wight Co. VA Deed Book 15, pgs 184-187 FHLC #32008 This Indenture made this eighth day of September in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty three Between Richard Wrenn of the Parish of Newport and County of Isle of Wight of the One Part and Josiah Wilson and Martha his Wife as Administratrix to Francis Wrenn decd of the Parish of Southwark and County of Surry of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard Wrenn for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Twelve pounds Current Money to him in hand paid the receipt Whereof he doth Hereby Acknowledge hath Granted Bargained and Aliened & Confirmed, And by these presents doth grant bargain Sell Aliene & Confirm unto the said Josiah Wilson his Heirs and Assigns forever a tract or parcel of Land purchased by Francis Wrenn father of the said Richard Wrenn of Emanuel Hunter & Containing by Estimation eighty five Acres and also One other tract of Land purchased by Thomas Wrenn of Isaac Almond Containing by Estimation One Hundred Acres with all & every the appurtenances to the said tracts or parcels of land in any manner belonging Together With two Negroes Abraham, and Cele To have and to hold the said Tracts Or parcels of land & Every part thereof with there Appurtenances and the Above mentioned Negroes Abraham and Cele to the said Josiah Wilson his Heirs & assigns to the Only Proper Use of him the said Josiah Wilson his Heirs and Assigns forever provided Never the less and it is hereby Covenanted Between the said Richard Wrenn and the said Josiah Wilson for themselves and their Heirs, that if the said Richard Wrenn shall pay or cause to be paid to the said Josiah Wilson and Martha his Wife as administratrix to Francis Wrenn decd their Heirs or Assigns the above mentioned Sum of two hundred and twelve pounds with Lawful Interest now on demand on or Before the 20th day of September 1783.
